Questions

Good to know

Everything worth knowing before you book a photoshoot — answered plainly, with nothing hidden in the small print.

What language will the photoshoot be in?

Your choice of English, German, or Japanese — Jannis is fluent in all three, so directions and conversation stay natural for you.

When will we receive our photos?

Your edited JPEGs are delivered as a private online gallery within 5 working days of the shoot.

How many photos do we get?

Each package guarantees a minimum number of edited JPEGs — from 15 photos on the 30-minute Tokyo Snapshot up to 75 on the Full Tokyo Experience. That minimum is a promise, not an average.

We're not used to being photographed. Is that a problem?

Not at all — most guests aren't. The shoot stays relaxed: we settle into the location, explore a little, and Jannis gives light, simple directions. The candid moments happen in between — not from stiff posing.

Can you photograph a surprise proposal?

Yes. Proposals are planned together with you in advance — the spot, the timing, and where Jannis will be — so the moment itself stays a complete surprise for your partner.

Which areas can we shoot in?

The signature locations are Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Asakusa. Longer packages can combine two or three nearby areas in one shoot — and custom sessions beyond that are possible on request.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain can look beautiful — reflections, umbrellas, glowing streets. If the weather makes shooting impossible, we reschedule together or follow the cancellation policy.

How do we book and pay?

Start with Check Availability and share your preferred date and package. Booking and payment details are confirmed with you directly while our online booking setup is being finalized.
